Therapeutic Support
Therapeutic Counselling
A safe space is essential for you to be heard and to be yourself. Together, we create a compassionate, supportive relationship where you can speak openly about what you’re experiencing.
Life brings many challenges — relationship changes, grief, parenting demands, health issues, and more. These can affect how we see ourselves, others, and the world. At times, these pressures can feel overwhelming, through no fault of your own, and support can help you move through them.
You are unique, and your support should reflect that. I offer a personalised approach that encourages reflective insight, meaningful change, and steady growth.
Through practical coping tools, we can help strengthen perspective and resilience, while staying grounded in what matters most to you.
Family Consultant
When parents face separation or divorce it’s hard to know how best to support your children, and yourself. A family consultant helps you (individually, jointly, or with other professionals) address the emotional, practical, and parenting issues of separation. It offers short-term guidance and can connect you with longer-term specialist help if needed. They can also work with you in the collaborative law process to support constructive decision-making. Family consultants meet with parents and, where appropriate, children to help build a stable, secure parenting arrangement.
Divorce Therapy
This style of therapy supports individuals and couples through the emotional, practical and identity impacts of separation. I combine emotional support with practical tools to reduce distress and clarify decisions, to process grief, anger, loss, and uncertainty, to clarify your values and priorities, and to make decisions that reflect what you need during this life changing challenge.
Our work together can include:
- managing intense emotions and reducing conflict rebuilding self-esteem and identity after relationship change
- practical coping strategies for parenting transitions and routines
- improving communication and co-parenting if this is required
- planning next steps and accessing specialist support (legal, financial, child-focused)
Your sessions are tailored, short-term focused work or longer therapeutic support depending on your needs. My approach is practical and compassionate, helping you to have a clearer thought process and move towards recovery, stability and positive next steps for you and your family.
